Today I wanted to shine a spotlight on the top 10 most loved summer looks, just for fun. Everything is linked below each look if you are interested.
1. Express Vegan Leather Shorts & High Compression Top
The leather look has been so popular lately, from the faux leather leggings, to coated jeans, to shorts and bike shorts! And I have to admit, I am a huge fan! I love the look, it elevates any outfit ever so slightly and adds a little bit of edge. Not to mention, it is so fun to style. Balancing the more masculine texture with more feminine pieces adds so much interest to any look.
Here I have styled the Express textured vegan leather shorts with their high compression crop top. I love the softness of the top, it definitely accentuates the feminine shape and they have such a good variety of nude colors to match or complement any skin tone. I personally am a fan of all the different shades of nude, even if they don't match my skin exactly - a good nude just looks so chic in my eyes.

2. Express White Shorts & Chambray Shirt
As I mentioned on my Instagram when I posted this look - it's mid July and I'm just now pulling out the white shorts. That's okay though because there are still quite a few summer days left in Chicago and I still plan on getting a lot of wear out of these. These are also from Express (you know I love their denim :)) and the fit is so good. I like how they are a little bit longer on the leg and high waisted - the comfort level is 10/10.
Here I have paired them with nude colored slides from Shein, a chambray shirt which was a Nordstrom Rack find, as well as a striped crop top from Nordstrom.

3. Shein Midi Skirt & Chloe Woody Sandals
Normally I am more of a shorts or jeans kind of girl but occasionally I will reach for a skirt or dress when the mood strikes. This midi skirt was part of my most recent Shein order earlier this summer and it was under $10! Such a great deal for such a cute skirt and they have other color options as well. I decided to be bold when purchasing this one and went with the red as most of the pieces in my closet are a neutral, and I'm so glad I did because I am just loving this color.
Here I have paired it with a cropped sweater tank from H&M, which unfortunately isn't available anymore but I'm linking a lot of similar options below if you are interested. I'm also wearing an all time favorite in shoes - the Chloe Woody Sandals. These are a bit of a splurge but I think they are so worth it. They complement almost every single outfit - like a dressed up casual shoe. Originally I went with the black and ordered a half size up, loved them, and had to go back and order them in white as well.

4. Old Navy Terry Cloth Romper
This is the simplest, most causal look in this post but I love it so much because it's just so darn cute as a button. Rompers are great for summer - similar to dresses, you don't even have to think about how to style them but, I find them more comfortable especially when wearing outside because you don't ever have to worry about the wind!
This one is from Old Navy, made of terry cloth, and perfect for the beach or pool (especially if you will be using it as a cover up over a swimsuit!). Here I am just wearing it out at the park paired with my favorite Chloe Woody Sandals and a large tote for all the goodies. I chose white in this one because I find that the lighter color makes this simple piece look more expensive even if though it wasn't!
Can you spot the IG BF in this photo? :D

5. Walter Baker Shorts
I am just loving these Walter Baker shorts from Gilt - they are so well tailored, the fit is amazing, and the olive green is the perfect shade where it's still muted down and doesn't distract.
This was just a simple date night look that I put together, pairing a basic black bodysuit with these shorts, a pair of heels and a nice belt. Nothing too crazy, just simple and chic.

6. Express Acid Wash Jeans & High Compression Top
These Express acid wash jeans are an all time favorite! These are slim jeans, not skinny, which means they are a little bit more relaxed around the ankle area and in line with where we are currently trending in the jean department. They are a very light acid wash, not very dramatic or intense, just a slight acid tinge which I love. The rise is super high which I also love because of the nice shape it gives overall.
Here I have paired them with the high compression crop top also from Express, a pair of rattan flats by Steve Madden, and a matching rattan crossbody from Shein. This little bag is so cute and so inexpensive, highly recommend if you are looking for something to wear casually that is light weight and trendy.

7. Faux Leather Bike Shorts & Alo Crop Top
Bike shorts, YASS! I'm so glad this look made the list because I am all about the bike shorts these days. True, I was not a fan when they first came out but then I saw how so many bloggers are styling them in all of these cute ways so I decided to give them a try and as it happens more often than not, I fell in love. And now I understand. If you haven't tried them, you will not understand.
In this look, I have paired a faux leather pair by 90 Degrees by Reflex with a loose and flowy crop top by Alo, which was a Nordstrom Rack find. I've linked similar tops below but have not been able to find this exact one. I also added a Frye belt bag, also a Nordstrom Rack find and similar options linked below, and a pair of comfy sneakers.

8. A&F Cutoff Shorts & Amazon Shirt Dress
This shirt dress purchase was influenced by @stylinbyaylin, it's the exact one she has in fact, and it's quickly become one of my favorite pieces in my closet. You can throw it on top of anything and make it an outfit, you can use it as a coverup over a swimsuit, you can button it up and add a belt and wear it as a dress - so many options. And the quality of it is so good, I would have expected it to be much more expensive than it was given the fabric weight.
Here I have paired it with my Nordstrom striped crop top and A&F distressed shorts. A&F is another one of those brands that makes really good denim and you can never go wrong with one of their pieces. I also added woven accessories to this look to tie it all together - the Marc Fisher LTD woven slides which were also super popular this summer and this chain bag from Goodnight Macaroon which is a really good dupe for the BV chain bag, linked below and in my LTK.

9. Joe's Button Fly Shorts & Converse Star Sneakers
Another look that made the list is one of my 4th of July looks! I love this look for its comfort and simplicity, and understated stars and stripes prints throughout - so festive!
The shorts are by Joe's Jeans and super comfy and stretchy, the striped tank top is from Nordstrom Rack, and the sneakers are star printed Converse Chuck Taylors. Combined with a cute pair of Quay sunnies, its the perfect summer day outfit and perfect for 4th of July!

10. Faux Leather Bike Shorts, Express High Compression Top & Amazon Shirt Dress
I am not at all surprised that this look made the list as all of these pieces have already been incorporated in other favorite looks above. It make perfect sense.
The Amazon shirt dress, the Express high compression top, the faux leather bike shorts, and the Chloe Woody sandals - what else is there to say? I love everything about this look - so comfortable, so casual (I'm all about that), the neutral color combo is divine, and its so aesthetically pleasing to the eye with the flowy shirt & faux leather texture. It is by far, one of my absolute favorite looks this year.
