The latest addition to my closet is this super cool sweater jacket from J. Crew Factory. It's very similar to the sweater blazer which I featured in a previous post but is slightly longer and hits mid-thigh vs mid-hip. Nonetheless, I think both are essential pieces.
This is a seriously cute item and I can think of so many ways to wear it right off the bat - it's easy to move in, a good on-the-go piece for travel, errands, etc. I don't know about you, but I certainly don't like feeling constricted behind the wheel in a heavy winter coat and this makes a perfect top layer for running in and out of the car without having to put on your jacket!
Here I have paired it with leggings and sneakers, and a long sleeve top for extra warmth, for that exact situation!

This is a really easy piece to style for both causal and more dressed up wear. A simple way to dress up this look is to swap out the leggings for a pair of coated skinny jeans and short booties. I do love the look of faux leather leggings, but not the comfort level so, I typically opt for the coated jeans instead which tend to feel warmer, hold in the goodies, and most importantly, you get pockets!

And lastly, you can never go wrong with a black and white ensemble - and for a little interest, I've added some pattern with the shoes. I think this one has to be one my favorite looks of all time!

I hope you enjoyed and talk soon!
