A fun way to experiment with fashion is to mix it up a bit! Typically we think that browns go with beiges and creams, and blacks go with greys and whites but, that is so not the case! A neutral is exactly what it's name implies - neutral - which means it literally goes with anything and that includes other neutrals!
Here I am experimenting with mixing different shades and patterns - I have paired a taupe suede jacket, with a grey tee, black skinny jeans, and a printed pair of cream colored mules.
I find that the grey tee blends into the jacket in a way in which it does not draw attention to itself, as you may notice had I used a white tee instead. Black skinny jeans are a staple item and just blend into the body where you sort of notice only the things around them but not the jeans themselves, allowing for the jacket and the shoes to be the focal points of this outfit.
Nothing matches but everything goes. Just my 2 cents on mixing neutrals.
