There are a few things that I really love about this look: 1) the BlankNYC Suede Jacket - I've had this jacket for a couple of years now and it remains as one of my all time favorite pieces that I own. I reach for this ALL THE TIME. It's perfect to so many looks, dressed up or down. 2) I am getting a lot of wear out of this Express dress, as I expected when I purchased it, so it's nice to be validated. It's so comfortable and versatile, and neutral, of course. 3) These Steve Madden studded wedges are ridiculously comfortable. Yes, the heel is not extreme so it makes sense but I half expected the straps to rub or the sole to cause blisters but so far nothing. It's rare for me to get that experience having not broken in a new (ish) pair of shoes. Unfortunately, after looking again today, they are no longer available but I have linked a higher wedge in a similar style below.
The jacket is in the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this year in two colors - Caramel Macchiato, which is a slightly darker tone brown than the one I am wearing here (Coffee Bean) and in High Altitude which is a grey shade. Amazon has this jacket basically in every color imaginable though, including black. Linking several options below if you're interested.
